Meet Erin, a beautiful senior Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a loyal spirit. Erin was sadly returned when her family faced serious medical challenges of their own and could no longer care for her, a heartbreaking change for a dog who has clearly known love and companionship. Through it all, Erin has remained sweet, calm, and affectionate, always ready for a kind word, a soft place to rest, and someone to stay close to. She shares a special friendship with her companion Kishke, and the two bring each other comfort as they adjust to this new chapter in life. Erin would thrive in a peaceful, loving home where she can enjoy her senior years surrounded by kindness, patience, and companionship. This lovely girl still has so much love to give and is hoping to find a forever family who will treasure her for the wonderful dog she is.

OPTION ONE: RESERVE A PET IN ADVANCE by filling out an online application at https://wright-wayrescue.org/adoption-application-page
- Our typical turnaround time for applications is within 48 hours.
- An email will be sent to you once your application is approved. This email will include instructions on how to proceed with our reservation process.
- Please note: The location listed in an animal's profile does not indicate where the animal is available for adoption. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.
OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL!
The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Friday, 2pm-8pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
