Meet Desiree, an adorable kitten with a brave heart and a gentle spirit. Found homeless by a caring family in southern Illinois, this little survivor has already shown incredible strength and resilience. After a frightening encounter with a dog, Desiree received the medical care needed and has made a wonderful recovery. Despite a rough start, this sweet kitten continues to show endless affection and trust, greeting each new day with curiosity and purrs. With soft fur, bright eyes, and a loving personality, Desiree is ready to leave the past behind and find a safe, happy forever home where love and kindness will fill every day.
**Arrived with a broken leg. Bones are fusing improperly, however, Desiree is using the leg, it has feeling, it is healthy, and pain free. Leg may or may not need to be amputated in the future as she ages and the possibility of arthritis develops.

OPTION ONE: RESERVE A PET IN ADVANCE by filling out an online application at https://wright-wayrescue.org/adoption-application-page
- Our typical turnaround time for applications is within 48 hours.
- An email will be sent to you once your application is approved. This email will include instructions on how to proceed with our reservation process.
- Please note: The location listed in an animal's profile does not indicate where the animal is available for adoption. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.
OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL!
The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Thursday & Friday, 4 pm-8 pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
