Meet Red, a handsome orange boy with an incredible journey! Red traveled all the way from Kuwait through the amazing efforts of Paws of War, and after spending time with a loving foster family in Southern Illinois, he's now ready to find his forever home.
Personality:
Red is a total people-lover. If you're nearby, he wants to be part of whatever you're doing. He absolutely loves, loves, loves attention-he'll lean in for pets, purr like crazy, and happily soak up affection. He's very sweet, but he also has a bit of a spicy side: if you stop petting him before he's ready, he might give a little swat to let you know he's not done yet. It's part of his charm! He also enjoys his harness and might take a walk with you! He is more dog-like than cat-like!
Ideal Home:
Red would thrive as an only cat, where he can be the center of your world. He may be able to live with another cat, but proper, slow introductions are essential. His perfect adopter will appreciate a cat with a big heart and a big personality.

- Our typical turnaround time for applications is within 48 hours.
- An email will be sent to you once your application is approved. This email will include instructions on how to proceed with our reservation process.
- Please note: The location listed in an animal's profile does not indicate where the animal is available for adoption. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.
OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL!
The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Thursday & Friday, 4 pm-8 pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
