Meet Ellie, a gentle senior Husky/Mastiff mix with a heart as big as she is. Through no fault of her own, Ellie is looking for a new family after her beloved veteran owner had to seek medical care and was no longer able to keep her. Despite this difficult change, Ellie has remained incredibly sweet, loving, and ready to share her affection with everyone she meets. She's a giant cuddle bug who loves being close to her people, enjoys splashing around in the water, and is wonderful on leash for leisurely walks. Ellie would thrive in a calm home with another mellow dog to keep her company, as she enjoys gentle companionship. If you're looking for a loyal, easygoing best friend who will happily snuggle by your side and make every day a little brighter, Ellie is ready to fill that role with all the love she has to give.

OPTION ONE: RESERVE A PET IN ADVANCE by filling out an online application at https://wright-wayrescue.org/adoption-application-page
- Our typical turnaround time for applications is within 48 hours.
- An email will be sent to you once your application is approved. This email will include instructions on how to proceed with our reservation process.
- Please note: The location listed in an animal's profile does not indicate where the animal is available for adoption. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.
OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL!
The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Friday, 2pm-8pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
