Meet Rusty, a sweet Beagle/Dachshund mix looking for a patient and loving home. Rusty was rescued from a hoarding case in Southern Illinois and is learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. He can be a little skittish at first, but once he feels comfortable, his friendly and gentle personality shines through. Rusty would thrive with someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to give him the patience, reassurance, and love he deserves. With a calm environment and a caring family by his side, Rusty is sure to continue blossoming into the wonderful companion he is meant to be.

OPTION ONE: RESERVE A PET IN ADVANCE by filling out an online application at https://wright-wayrescue.org/adoption-application-page
- Our typical turnaround time for applications is within 48 hours.
- An email will be sent to you once your application is approved. This email will include instructions on how to proceed with our reservation process.
- Please note: The location listed in an animal's profile does not indicate where the animal is available for adoption. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.
OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL!
The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Friday, 2pm-8pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
