Meet Cheer Bear, a gorgeous Pit Bull momma from Texas whose story is one of incredible resilience. When she arrived, she was emaciated and had been surviving outside, eating whatever trash she could find while caring for her litter of 11 puppies. She had been abandoned months earlier and left to fend for herself with little food or care, yet despite everything she endured, Cheer Bear has remained an incredibly sweet and gentle girl. She has done wonderfully with other dogs, showing a submissive and easygoing nature, and she has also done well seeing cats while on leash. She is friendly with both men and women and is quiet and well-behaved in her crate. After everything this beautiful momma has been through, Cheer Bear deserves a loving forever home where she will never again have to wonder where her next meal or safe place will come from. She is ready to leave her difficult past behind and finally experience the kindness, comfort, and unconditional love she has always deserved.

- Our typical turnaround time for applications is within 48 hours.
- An email will be sent to you once your application is approved. This email will include instructions on how to proceed with our reservation process.
- Please note: The location listed in an animal's profile does not indicate where the animal is available for adoption. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.
OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL!
The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Friday, 2pm-8pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
